It seems extreme to delete a message or unmatch a user in order to get rid of a message. You’ll have to make do with the app’s limited message deletion options until Tinder modifies its terms of service to permit users to delete messages from a chat.
Options for Discarding Messages Sent on the Tinder App
Inevitably, when using a dating app like Tinder, you’ll come into contact with folks who think about dating from various angles. Leave a conversation if it looks to be bringing up negative feelings with a particular person. You can erase the exchange if either party is uncomfortable keeping a record of it.
Tinder allows you to remove chats in a few different ways. Note, though, that even if you delete the app, the chat will remain in the app’s database, so you can pick up just where you left off when you re-register with the app.

Method 1: Conversation Deleted

Follow these steps to permanently remove your Tinder profile.
Step 1: Initiate Tinder’s launch on your mobile device.
Step 2: The profile symbol is located in the lower right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Look for the “Settings” option under the “Profile” menu.
Step 4: Find the “Delete Account” link under the page’s footer.
Step 5: Once you click “Delete Account” in the confirmation window that opens, all of your profile information will be removed.
